Radiology Practice Quality Improvement Projects

Who will this site help?

  • Everyone enrolled in Maintenance of Certification (MOC) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) must complete all program components, including Part IV, Practice Quality Improvement. That’s where we come in.

What’s the big deal?

  • Active participation in practice quality improvement projects THROUGHOUT each ten-year cycle is required. Completing a project in a single year or over a few years and then stopping is not allowed.

  • You need to be actively working on a project every year and you need to keep documentation to prove it.

What if I am one of the 3-5% of people audited by the American Board of Radiology?

  • No need to worry! When you complete each yearly step of this program, you receive an electronic report that confirms your compliance.
  • When you complete all the steps of your 10 year cycle, we certify your compliance directly to ABR for inclusion in your personal database (PDB), thus excluding you from an individual audit.

How will this site help me?

  • Guides you step-by-step throughout the 10 year cycle
  • Provides ABR-approved Quality Improvement projects for you to use
  • Includes plans for data collection, improvement and re-measurement
  • Certifies your successful completion of the Practice Quality Improvement portion of MOC directly to the ABR
